    1. It’s so incredibly sad. We can pick up as much trash as we want, but when we go back there will just be more. We can talk about this until the cows come home, but as always, it takes action. For now, I’m trying to do my small part. When I’m exploring in nature and making my films I’m always picking up trash and hopefully, the films make people more aware and inspire them to keep nature clean.

  1. A perfectly gentle, serene scene, visually interrupted by trash makes a blatant call to our senses regarding our responsibility as consumers to leave this world in better condition than we found it. Perhaps the Boy Scouts are right after all.

BTW. Hannes, thank you for stopping by my new blog site: TheBookOnBusiness.net. It is a work in progress for folks to comment and give me feedback as I write the book in public over the next 6-12 months. I look forward to hearing from you again soon.

    1. Thank you so much for the positive feedback! I hope my films will inspire people to become more aware of their trash habits and to not litter in nature. Otherwise all the beauty is gone.

That is really incredible! I’m looking forward to being part of your journey.

  2. Looks familiar. Litter looks the same the world over! Going out to sort it out now, with my 99p litter picker from Poundland! Can’t quite make it over to South Africa though.

      1. Just collected a bin bagful of litter, all within 200metres of my house – Sellotape rolls, McDonalds cups, crisp bags, beer cans – and bottles full of p**s! Taking several more (stronger) bin bags next time!
